Per-Topic Notifier Settings

You can also configure the settings for each topic individually, these include overriding certain global settings.

Topic Configuration Settings

Instant Delivery

By default, notifications are unfrequently checked on Android, this can be overridden per-topic to deliver notifications instantly.



To enable instant delivery, tap the ⚡ icon in the top right! This will enable instant delivery for the topic.

This setting may increase background usage, and subsequently battery drain on your device.

Muting Notications Settings

By default, topics follow your global mute settings, but you can override these settings per-topic.

Simply tap the menu in the top right, and open the Mute Notifications panel.
From here, you can choose a custom mute duration, or mute the topic indefinitely.

Minimum Priority Override

By default, topics follow your global minimum priority settings, but you can override these settings per-topic.

Simply tap the menu in the top right, and open the Minimum Priority panel.
From here, you can choose the minimum notification level that you would like to be notified for, or to use the global app setting.

Auto-Deletion Override

By default, topics follow your global auto-deletion settings, but you can override these settings per-topic.

Simply tap the menu in the top right, and open the Delete Notications panel.
From here, you can choose the auto-deletion period of notifications, or to use the global app setting.

Keep Alerting for Highest Priority

This setting governs whether you would like to be notified once, or repeatedly for the highest priority notifications.

By default, topics follow your global "keep alerting" settings, but you can override these settings per-topic.

Simply tap the menu in the top right, and open the Keep alerting for highest priority panel.
From here, you can choose your option, whether to alert once or constantly alert, or to use the global app setting.

Custom Notification Settings

You can also set enable custom notification settings for each topic for greater customisation.

This allows you to customise the specific notifications per-topic, per-priority within your device settings.

Simply tap the menu in the top right, and enable Custom Notification Settings.
Once enabled, you should see a menu pop-out below, directing you to your phone's notification settings.

Topic Appearance Settings

Subscription Icon

You can also set a custom icon for each topic, which will be displayed in the notification tray.

Simply tap the menu in the top right, and open the Subscription Icon panel.
This will open your device's gallery, allowing you to select an image to use as the icon.

Display Name

Alongside changing the icon, you can also set a custom name for your topic, to be shown in the notification tray.

Simply tap the menu in the top right, and open the Display Name panel.
From here, you can enter a custom name for your topic.
